The English language is full of wonderful shades of meaning, very specific, honorable, very beautiful words that can be drawn on in text and conversation to express any emotion, thought or idea. These words can be used to uplift, bring hope, and heal.
Along with the good exists the bad. There are curse words, words that tear down and hurt, that bully and degrade, that paint ugly, violent pictures that can shock, harm, add to depression, uncertainty, helplessness and hopelessness.
I choose not to use the latter class in my writing.
